Oklahoma Wild is the first recorded Psilocybe cubensis strain found in Oklahoma, discovered by Jacob DeVecchio of Oklahoma Fungi in Choctaw County. It was foraged from a pasture with local compost, alfalfa hay, and horse dung. Domesticated by mycologist @capt.tripps_, it produces both short, dark-capped mushrooms and tall stems over a foot long, earning the nickname “Okie Footlong.” While not heavy spore producers, these mushrooms have become a notable landrace variety.
