About the Casper strain
Casper is a mushroom variety reported by mycology collectors as a leucistic hybrid descended from Albino Penis Envy crossed with another cubensis line. Spores and photographs began circulating among hobbyist mycologists between 2017 and 2019, with the name drawn from its ghostly pale fruiting bodies. Distinguished by suppressed pigmentation across cap and stem and a generally lighter overall tone. Valued as a specimen for studying leucistic phenotype expression within the cubensis species.
