Recent estimates suggest fewer than 1 in 6 US spore vendors load their own syringes. Most of what you see online is imported, prefilled product that gets a new label slapped on the side. We are the other 1 in 6. Every syringe leaves our cleanroom loaded by hand. This is a small, family-run operation from start to finish.

Why We Do It In-House

When a vendor resells prefilled syringes, they have no idea what is actually inside. They are trusting the packer, who is trusting the source, who is trusting the lab. By the time it reaches you, the chain has too many hands and too few answers.

We do it the other way. We work from spore genetics we know and trust, prepare the solution in-house, and load each syringe one at a time. Because the work happens here, if something looks off, we can catch it and replace it before it ever ships.

Inside Our Cleanroom

Our work happens inside an ISO-7 rated cleanroom. That means the air is HEPA filtered and fully cycled dozens of times an hour, holding airborne particles under a fixed limit that an ordinary room would exceed many times over. We put on protective gowning before going in, and the airflow is set up to carry particles away from the bench instead of toward it.

Each syringe is prepared inside that environment, one at a time. Before anything ships, we hold and test samples from the batch for visible contamination. If a batch does not pass, it does not go out. That is not marketing language. It is the actual reason a shipment might occasionally run a day or two behind schedule.

Family-Run

This is a family business. The same small team handles each order from the moment it comes in to the moment it ships. We keep the catalog curated and the operation small on purpose, because it is how we hold quality to the standard we want.

What to Expect When You Order

Orders placed before 2pm Central, Monday through Friday, ship the same day. Orders placed Friday afternoon ship Monday morning.

Once your order ships, you will get a tracking number by email. You can check status any time at sporesource.com/track-your-order without logging in.

Microscopy and Research Use Only

Everything we sell is for microscopy and taxonomy research. Psilocybe cubensis spores are sold as research specimens for studying spore morphology under a microscope. Our products are not sold for cultivation or consumption. You must be 18 or older to purchase.
